Range Ignitor

We have the Whirlpool Amana range in our Rushmore. The piezoelectric ignitor on the range is hard to turn at times. I had to do the sewing needle mod on the knob not long after we purchased the RV. I have failed to find the ignitor listed anywhere.

So, I'm thinking of the bbq mod. Putting the battery powered ignitor on the stove seems like a great improvement. Anyone on here done the mod? Advice?

How about using one of these ?

On all our rv's we've preferred them in that it would take a while for the propane to flow from the bottle to the stove and so we just left the flame on and waited...

they were cheaper, quieter, easier, safer IMHO and very good at starting campfires

Got a couple of those! I just don't like things that don't work like they should. If I never used the ignitor again, I would still want it functional.
