remote control front jacks

I was thinking of putting togeather a kit to make the front jacks remote control from a key fob. It would work on any fifthwheel with eletric front jacks so when hitching up you can rase or lower the unit to the right hight from the truck.

if i can put togeathera kit for around $75 do you guys think there would be a calling for it?

It would have to be a simple hook up for us (MC) Mechanically Challenged... Would I still be able to use my snap pins?

Yep it would be an easy hook up, Yes nothing would change you would still have what you have nowincluding the switch. This would just be an add on to make hitching up easyer.



I have used mine to unhitch but the real benafit is hitching up. cause to unhitch I put blocks down and I have to losen my Plugitright stablizers that puts me out of the truck any way.



What is nice is when you hitch up you can set the hight right from the drivers seat then whenI get out I lock the hitch and whileI plug in the cable and hook up the brakeaway cableI hold the up button so the jacks are cumming up at the same time.

Sounds like a great ideal you have there. I can see how it would be a great benifit when hooking up. I have had to get out several times because the pin was either to low or to high. Would have saved alot of time by not getting in and out of truck.

Yes I have 2 working now Mine and my buddys Ceader Creek, I ordered the stuff today to make 10, If it works out I can make more. Hunter11 ordered the first one

You ought to make a video for you-tube showing how it works. Might be the beginning of a new business.

I will when I get a chance, I can do a video of mine but i have it running hyd. jacks not eletric, so it moves faster. but it will be the same theory.

These are all ready being sold by rv stores so I would watch out for infringments and other laws. I'm not trying to start anything here I just don't think it is a good idea to put on utube.

Don't think there would be a problem showing a vid, as long as you didn't mention that you were trying to sell them. It could be a how something works
