Repairing membrane/coraplast on under belly

When I cut the plastic sheet on the underbelly, The dealers said they use Eternabond for the belly repairs also. I have some but it has been too cold to apply so I wait for consistently warm weather. ;+D an

I use the really wide black gorilla tape for the under belly. Never had a problem with it coming off. But, I agree to wait until warmer weather on either one.

I have also used the wide Gorilla Tape for the Coroplast underbelly. Just make sure that the surface is clean and you can also use a hair dryer or a heat gun on low to warm the tape after application and reseat the tape a bit more and there should be no issues with that type of repair.

I replaced 3/4 of my underbelly with coroplast 4 X 8 sheets and used the Gorilla Waterproof Patch and Seal Tape on the seams. It is still holding strong. Make sure you use the correct tape as some of their other brands are not suited for this type of exposure. Here is the link.

The best tape for use on the coroplast underbelly is called "Scrim tape", it's found on line, it's what they use on manufactured houses.

I started a new thread for this one. Seems like a tear in the roof all of a sudden turned into a tear in the bottom.

Sorry Lloyd, you know what happens when people are gabbing. Things have a tendency to get off track.

I use the Flex Mend tape also, I'm able to buy it, from a local RV shop, by the foot. I always spray the repair area with spray adhesive first, prior to applying the tape. Never had a problem
