As long as the awning rail is undamaged and the arm mounting locations, it is not a difficult job, but you do need extra helpers that are comfortable working on ladders. I have done several installs over the years. There are only two brands, A&E and Carefree of Colorado. I like Carefree, but the best choice is probably to use the same brand that was on the unit originally. Check and double check the awning length needed, or make the dealer be responsible for getting the order right, awning rails are always longer than the actual awning.
