Replacing heating element

New member here. I inadvertently burn up the electric heating element in my 2016 crossroads zinger hwh by not opening bypass valve dewinterizing it. I can see a small black box on the tank behind the water lines by accessing the panel under the bookstore and it appears the element has to be removed thru this box. Has anyone here replaced an element like this ?

Have not replaced mine but that is where the element is. You will probably need a 1 1/2" socket. You can get a new 1400w element at Ace. Make sure the element is for 120volt and power is off.
