What's the best way to walk on the roof? Does it hurt to walk in the middle?

slowly. It's OK but not if you are REAL heavy. It's slick when it's wet. I wear non-marking shoes.

Very carefully if you are like me and do not like heights. I do not worry about putting my weight on it but I do try to walkwhere the rafters are. You can feel a little "give" between them. Do be careful because the roofcan be very slick. I was on mine on morning and there was some dew and I did somefigure skatingstyle moves before I decided to just sit down and end the excitement.

That's pretty funny Chuck...it creates agreat visual.

Our roofs (Cruisers)have a 3/8" plywood deck under the rubber and can support just about anyone...but I stilltry to stay over the supports.

I always go barefoot up there, not sure if that's recommended but I like it. Helps keep it clean and keeps me from doing any damage with the hard soles or embedded rocks (and a cleanroof means lessblack streaks...I hate black streaks)!

Like the rest have said above .. I am on hands and knees when cleaning or inspecting and resealing around the vents and skylights. If you are going to be sure make sure your shoes do not have any rocks that can make a hole. It does get slick so I am more a crawler than walker.
