Roof cleaning

Well my first summer in my GT29BH is now over...

Should I wash the roof of my trailer? It is a rubber membrane.

If so what is the best product to clean it and is there a protecting treatment I should do on it?

If your roof is dirty, or has stains on it from leaves, etc. and if you want to keep it looking good then by all means you should clean it. I use Solvit on mine. CR doesn't recommend any treatment for it.

Keeping the roof clean will also reduce the sidewall black streaks come spring.

I'll get the Dicor cleaner and give it a good rub before winter.

On two travel trailers and two 5'ers I have always used Dawn dishwashing soap. It is mild and does a good job.

Protect-All Rubber Roof cleaner and conditioner here. Used it on my last camper and it did a good job cleaning then keeping dirt off. Just be careful after using the conditioner, it's like Armor All and it can be slick for a bit.

I liked using the cleaner b/c it meant using very little water, and I didn't have to spray off the roof with a hose, just use a bucket and a mop. So no need to wash the entire coach at the same time.
