Rushmore Lincoln LR tie-downs for what?

As I purchased my 2014 Rushmore Lincoln (2013 floor plan) used, I did not get the grand walk-through to explain everything. Most things I can figure out, but this has me puzzled. There are two D-rings mounted on the base of the entertainment slide out. That shelf (for lack of a better word) is too narrow to tie anything down between them, there are no similar hook points above them, nor do I see any hook points on the opposing slide out. We all know Crossroads is not spending a dime more than they have to, so there has to be some purpose!

Not a Rushmore but on our SunSet Trail these little "D" rings are in slides as "anchors" to thither barrel chairs & dinning table chairs for traveling. CrossRoads placed 6 in one slide & 2 in front of entertainment center in other slide (for who knows what? So have removed!)

Can you elaborate? I have two solid chairs and two folding chairs. I'm guessing there was a strap or cord of some type. If you could post a picture to get me past this "duh" moment, that would be fantastic!
Hey, it's Monday morning, don't expect too much here ...

Can't post pics with my cell phone. But. !!!
I cheap cloth strap with a buckle and a hook at each end.
( like a camera strap ). Hooked in the loop went over the seat cushion (on the non folding chairs ). and hooked in the other ring. I have 3 rings.
Folding chairs go under the bed. Hope this helps. BTW. Straps. Broke

WHAT? FROM CROSSROADS? SAY IT AIN'T SO!

Yup, I'm just so surprised. Thanks for the reply, maybe I can come up with a bungee cord solution based on the information from you!
