rv gutter rubber molding

my gutter rubber molding wont stay snapped in the track so my question is should i just use some silicone to make it stay or do I need to buy new rubber molding instead of messing with trying to glue it in? Thanks

Buy new. IF down the line you want to replace, you'll have to remove all that silicone.

Agree buy new. Very reasonable at Amazon. I opted for black. Was a breeze to install looks nice, and the black (so far)shows no staining. Caution to make it long enough, it shrinks some. Warm it in sun prior to install but not too much.

I agree with the above, buy new. I replaced mine last year that wouldn't stay installed. I got a 100 ft roll at the local trailer supply shop for around $30 CAD and used half the roll and certainly have no problems with some leftovers for the next one that won't stay in its groove. I did clean the groves beforehand with the air compressor and a wire brush to eliminate any dirt in the grooves and some headache and siliconed the ends like they were originally. My replacements might not the exact same as the factory were but also can't say which might be better, but its the originals that failed and replacements are to young to comment..

Tighten up all screws while you are there ....they will be loose . Take a few out to see if any have rust on them ,if so squirt some sealant in hole and re insert screws...
