From what I can tell, the dealers measure the length of trailers differently then the Manufacturers. When measurements are done, do they include the tongue or is it the actual exterior length of the trailer. When looking at the Crossroads trailers such as the Cruizers or Sunsets and you see the length, does that include the tongue?

Crossroads lists length as exterior length which is rear bumper to ball length. Some manufacturers will only list box length but the bumper to ball length is exterior length. I know that my TT is listed as 29'11" and that is prettymuch whatI got when I measured bumper to ball on it.

The brochure lists the exterior length of our Cruiser as 33' 11" and the actual measurement from backside of the bumper to front of the plate on the pin box is 35' 4-1/2".

Model size usualy is the house BUT the brocure should have the overall lenght.

On out 29RLX TT we thought we were looking at a 29 footer, nope 34...so much for down sizing 6' bigger.

I am led tobelieve that model #s have more to do with sq.ft. in the camper than camper length. Bottom line is take a tape with you when shopping and measure for yourself. Our 30SB is just over 32' front of pin box to back of bumper.

My 2011 unit is a 30. However I have a 36ft building and it barely fits. I can close the rollup door and only have about 6 inches from bumper to back wall.
