We live in Colorado and plan to make a trip down to the Las Vegas area around October. We want to store the RV in southern Nevada or northern Arizona so don't have to bring it back and winterize it. We want to use it in that area all winter but have to come home to check things once in a while. Would anyone recommend a storage place in that area that is reliable and safe to store? Thanks.

If your stays back home aren't going to be very long, why not consider leaving it at the RV park you are staying at? Lot less hassle that way rather then going to a storage lot. Safer also.

Alot of parks will negotiate a lower "storage fee" or discount long term stays enough to compensate for leaving it on the lot while you are elsewhere.

Talk to them about seasonal rates that allows you to leave it on site and vist a certian amout each year. If they are not busy during that part of the year they would love the extra income.

I am RVing since 2002 and store the rig at the end of each trip for the winter, than I pick it up on the next spring to discover new states/provinces, so I alw</span>ays store the rig in different places.
I found out that it is safe enough to store the rig in a C.G and till now payed around 35-40 USD a month.
Do a Google to find C.G with storage facilities and send them e-mails till you get what you want.
Some will even recharge your batteries, winterize, wash and so on.
