satellite outside

We have a sunset trail 250rb, we have satellite set up and works great inside however we are trying to hook it up on the tv outside with no luck, we have a co-ax hook up located beside the tv mount outside on the side of the trailer(separate from the 2 co-ax hookups on the back where 1 of.them has the satellite feeding into) ....any suggestions what we could be doing wrong?

My understanding is the coax hook up for the outside tv is connected to the cable/antenna wires, not the satelite wires. There are two seperate runs inside the trailer and only the main tv has a coax to connect to satelite. At least that is how I understand it to be on my trailer. I do not know what trailer you have because it is not in your signature

That is correct you can not hook a satellite box up to your connection outside. What you can do and what I do is I have a direct line from my satellite dish that I run outside the trailer to the outdoor kitchen when I want satellite outside, its pretty easy that way and its not very often I do this.
