scale requirements

Hi all,

We are planning to depart on a 6 week journey with our 348 RLS fifth wheel in a few weeks. First trip of this lenght for us as I just retired. My question for the group is will we have to pull into the trucking weight stations to scale our truck and fifth wheel? Or can we bypass these stops?

Thank you,

Chris

You don’t have to stop for recreation vehicles. Congrats on retiring where every day is a Saturday.

Papa-T is correct. The only time an RV has to pull in and weigh is if it's being towed commercially. Like a towing/hauling business that is delivering it to a dealer lets say.
The rest of us can just sail right on by.
Enjoy your retirement.

Thank you everyone for your response. Hasn't been a month since retirement, but it feels good.
