Schwintek Slide

Hey All,



So I'm researching the slide mechanism that is on my 2012 Sunset Trail 26BH. Apparently it has the Lippert schwintek slide (has an upper and lower "worm rail" on each side of the slide). According to the Lippert website, no maintenance or adjustment should be required. Is this a new slide mechanism? Anyone had any experience with it? What problems could/should I expect?

They work pretty good and are smooth. The only problem I am having is, it leaks water in it. Has been back once and it still leaks. I have 2012 335ss Cruiser 5th wheel. Called dealer and they are contacting Crossroads again on this. Don't know how easy will be able to get back in if it don't work.

Lippert has several good videos on the Schwintek system covering installation, maintenance and operation. Check their website or google it. This system has dual slide motors and you should be able to stop it without damage.
