Schwintek Slide rollers
I am looking for information on the floor slide rollers in my cruiser aire. I suspect they should be mostly similar.
Has anyone ever removed the slide to repair rebuild the rollers themselves?
I have exhausted google searches. Unless I'm not getting the wording correct.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks but different design. Those ones are mounted on flat wood.
Mine for some stupid reason are mounted in a rectangular hole cut in floor of RV. Mounting only at either end and ar pushing through floor. Really a poor design.

Here's a service roller https://store.lci1.com/j-36-service-roller-276288.html but would require notching the floor to get them in. I've heard some techs tip the slide out to get at the rollers instead of removing the slide. Are the rollers cutting into the slide floor or sinking down into the trailer floor? On my TT the rollers we're cutting into the slide floor, there are 5 rollers on my 12 foot living room slide. I put 1/8" strips of HDPE wider than the rollers and screwed in with stainless steel screws, solved my problem. Some people have used aluminum strips.

I have one broken roller, which is cutting.
mine are mounted on either end with 2 screws. Crossroads put a small piece of 1/4 plywood under the mounting flange to raise the roller. And all 5 are pushing through floor.
My plan it to play 1/8 plate from one roller to another. then 1/8 plate between rollers and slide floor. Which should keep the spacing.
I'm looking for video or info on pulling the schwintek slide far enough to get at rollers to do a proper job.
I will most likely repair the broken mount by welding it.

Just like Oliver said the metal strips are the best way to fix your problem if the rollers are cutting into your floor...Ask any owner of a Cruiser 335SS they all have problems with the rollers...

Inboard roller, or floor roller at the wall? If at the wall, believe slide has to be removed. If inboard, believe you maybe can deploy 50% and lift/ (tilts top out)?

Slide rollers
Don't know about your slides, but on mine there is about 1 or 2 inches play between the top of the slide-out and the top of the opening in the wall of the RV. Extended the slide-out until it was just a couple inches from being fully extended. Then was able to place a 4x4 on top of my hydraulic jack and a 2x6 on top of the 4x4 to distribute the weight on the bottom center of the slide-out.
Then was able to jack up the slide-out enough to get clearance on the bottom of the slide-out to mount metal strips on the bottom. On the first slide-out I mounted aluminum strips. They were too lightweight and wrinkled when I retracted the slide-out although they are still there and do work. On the next 3 slides, I mounted slightly thicker stainless steel strips of metal on the bottom and they work fine.
My slides run in and out with hydraulic and mechanical mechanisms.
You would need to determine if the mechanism for extending and retracting your slide-outs would allow you to jack them up without messing up anything.
Good luck.

Sorry been a bit since I last posted. Every tech I spoken to basically says this will require a complete slide removal.
Schwintek have rollers on sides of slide, that fit in tracking. I'm going to try and remove screws from tracking and lift the slide. I might get 2 inches at best.
If they used long screws I will have to pull slide.
The good news is I will be good at it by the time I get to the other slide.

I don't have Schwintek slides but I think I read that the motor can be disengaged from the track on these slides...Maybe someone on this forum could confirm if that is true or not...

sleepyT; you are correct the motors can be disconnected from the torque shaft. But that doesn't matter in this case. Miniozzy3 is going to remove all the screws from the gear racks and jack the slide straight up as far as he can to get at the slide rollers. The racks will be held in place by the bearing blocks and v rollers. The bearing blocks are held in the H column by aluminum rivets on the fixed side and plastic rivets on the float side.
Miniozzy3; if straight up doesn't give you enough room to get at the rollers I'd try tilting the slide up or down. Tilting the slide down with the slide almost all the way out may give you more clearance to get at them from the inside.

So I've been calling every dealership in my area. About a 200 mile radius.
The slides are covered by a SAL warranty for another year.
I'm having trouble with even the dealers wanting to touch it. Basically doesn't surprise me. I currently have it in for warranty on black/grey tanks leak when full. (wasn't fun cleaning that one.) I'm getting KUS float style tank sensor installed and hooked to my victron system. No more KIB BS sensor pins.
I may have a lead on a RV dealership a couple hrs away. I will let everyone know how it goes.
