Sealing and outdoor light fixture

Hi,
Happy new year everyone!
I have a ST 270BH.
There is an outdoor light on the front left side. Water is seeping in along the top (see photo) and causing the contacts in the fixture to corrode.
I'm wondering what product can I put along the seam (where the arrows are) to stop that seeping. I have some dicor, but it's white and the bead would be too thick and messy.
I'm thinking there must be something else out there that I don't know about for this job.
Thanks!
Mike

I would remove it and clean everything off first. It's only a couple of screws. You can buy the RV flat butyl seal at many Ace hardware stores and then reinstall. Use blue masking tape to cover the area you don't want the caulking and apply a SMALL bead around the light then carefully pull off the blue tape.

I had the same thing. It was like they forgot to put any sealant on it. I used silicon but was not happy with it. It did the job but it probably was the wrong type. When I noticed it I had several other lights that needed sealing. I also checked every where I could and had to seal the front cap in a spot about 6".

If you have not already be sure to review all the seam and fixtures.
