Shocks

I’m considering installing shock absorbers on my 2014 Cruiser 35SS. I’m looking for pros/cons and recommendations of what kind (level) of shock to use.

I’ve never put shocks on my campers. I guess some do. I figure since it’s m not back there riding and things aren’t all over the floor I’m ok. My friend did add shocks to his 5er and has actually bring me two sets in the past 7 years. I’m a big fan of “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

Didn't your camper come with the Equa-Flex?
If you have that on it, myself, I don't see the need for shocks.

You really don't need the extra expense for the shocks. A combination of a good Equa Flex suspension and GOOD tires are certainly enough. Also, many added the "Wet Bolts" to there suspension to keep it lubed up.

I might be wrong, but I believe sumo springs are designed to go inside of a coil spring and to increase the load capacity, leveling of the rig while loaded, and in some instances the handling when installed on a MH.

Been out of pocket for a while, sorry for the late response. Discovered these on the Grand Design forum where they're getting some traction. Sumo Springs are now additionally made for trailers with either a spring under axle config or a spring over axle config. Made from micro-cellular polyurethane which is airless and maintenance free. "Say goodbye to hop, sway, and vibration." Users say they tow better and things stay put better in the trailer. Looks like they're fairly easy to install and seem cost effective. Going to go take a look at my Reflection over at the storage lot to see which axle config I have. More detail at supersprings.com.
