Has anyone covered the skylight in the shower area or elsewhere? The skylight in the 335SS is huge and lets in lots of heat. I would like to cover it with something either inside or outside. Any suggestions?

George, Beverly took a piece of the foil bubble wrap they use for the "Upgraded Insulation" package and cut it to fit ours on the inside then used pieces of stick on Velcro on the edges to hold it in place. It has been up there since we bought the trailer. In fact if we had our way our next unit would not have a shower skylight.

I used someVelcro with that silver attic thermal barrier. I placed one side of the velcro on the skylight frame and the other on my cut to fit thermal barrier. When in place it works wonders and I would say the skylight in the bath is 20% of the unwanted heat in my TT. There is a fancy/pretty cover that is white, I simply used what I had around the house for free

Shane, you need a big bubble dome that way you could see what was going on in the park while you showered. I bet you do bump your head every now and then.

I cover ours in the fall when we are up at camp, but not for heat reasons. I put strips of velcroaround the frame and used a piece of 1in. Styrofoam with the plastic or vinyl covering on it. Seems to help. I wish they had foam cushions to fit it like the ones for the other roof vents.
