Ok so thats probably not the correct name, but we never had slideouts before...after we clean these verticle flappers, what should we spray on them, just any silicone spray? would that make them slide easier, they seem to drag one is tearing out of the screw that secures it to the frame...and sometimes we have to flip the last 12 inches manually with a ladder from the outside after opening on one corner...that cant be right, right?

Silicon or I use 303 Protectant since it has UVprotection in it.

I just use the 303 after cleaning with simple green< id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall;" id="jsProxy" =""><div id="ref">

ok guys 303 protectant it is...would that make the flappers slippier, that is , slide against the unit with less friction? they now seem to really drag...thanks a lot for the advice...

I wax my trailer sides with paste and an orbital buffer, I use a spray wax on the ends of the slides which help the seals ride on the slides. I use wd 40 and 303 on the seals.
