Slide out issue??

First time camper owner, enjoying it so far!!! Bought our Zinger back in April. One issue I have ran into is the one slide out... Packing up from our latest camping spot, tried to bring in the one slide and it starts making an awful popping noise, like its off track or something. It keeps moving in and when fully in, the one corner sticks out about 3 or 4 inches (opposite side of the track that sounds awful).

Any help, I'll try to submit video if I can.

What type of slide is it? Cable, hydraulic or Schwintek?

I'm not sure... I know it's not cable, my owners manual does mention Schwintek. Do you have an email I can send a video and you can see/hear what it does?

The service guy told us to always put slide out and in without the stabilizers down ...so as not to have the slide bind..

Have you tried retiming the slide

With a popping noise, it is probably a Lippert mechanical rack unit under the floor. The noise is the motor reaching it's torque limit and/or the gears binding. If It is that type, there is a square shaft parallel with the main frame that links the two sides together. Somewhere along the tube is a small bolt or shear pin. Remove it temporarily, push or pull one side to realign everything, then reinstall the pin.
