Red face Slide out jammed

Our slide out on 30 ft Sunset Trail is jammed in the "IN" position. Son-in-law (or daughter) slid it in with a large hasset in the way. One side is all the way in while the other edge is about 3 inches extended because it hit the obstruction. It blew the fuse and neither the awning or slide would operate. Quick swapped another of the 30 amp fuses. Now the awning moves, but nothing on the slide. It is clearly jammed. Anyone had this this issue? I don't mean in-laws. He's a good kid. He and daughter were taking some time off after our first grandchild.

They have no idea they jammed it up. Just hoping it is a simple fix.

Are you able to manually crank it out?

The bell stop probably pulled into the frame, if that's the case back off the set nut then get a big pipe wrench and turn the bell stop until it comes out of the frame. The bell stop is a gold looking bell that's threaded on the slide arms. Once out the slide will go out but need adjusting before closing, you'll also need to close the hole in the frame a little in order to prevent recurrence.

I am not sure what a "Bell Stop" is, however the first piece of info needed is what type of slide mechanics is used.

Is it the one with the "worm" tracks on the top and bottom of the slide on both front and back ends? Or is it a cable system, or is it a "Scissor" jack system? or is it hydraulics?

We have the worm tracks and it is a pain in the (moderator edit), the slide half the time will not move without people, me and the boys pushing on the outside to get it in and the inside to get it out.

If anyone has any suggestions I all ears.

If you both have the slide system that has the tracks on the top & bottom of the side panels of your slide you have the Schwintek system. If that is the case you can google "Schwintek in-wall Slide System" and get a couple of tutorials on how to deal with minor issues with the slides.
