Hi we have a 2010 sunset trail ST29QB and when ever i close the slide the top gasket flips under everytime, then when I open it up i have to by hand flip the gasket back to it correct position. Anyone else ever have this problem? The dealer check it out and did something to it but it didnt help
Thanks
Jason

Personally, I don't worry about it. Sometimes the gaskets work correctly and sometimes they don't. You can try cleaning them and making sure there is no "excess" sealant on the slide causing them to hang-up but I have never had any leaking from rain/snow whichever way they are positioned.

They are supposed to flip each time you open or close the slide. Sometimes you have to get them started as you start to open or close, but it doesn't seem to make a difference it you don't. I have never had a problem with leaking either way.

I also have a 29QB and I am currently having a leak problem with the slide. I don't think the leak is related, but I did notice when I was inspecting it that the seal was flipping near the ends but not in the middle. I'm taking it in this week to the dealer, so hopefully I will know the cause then.

The seal you are talking about is often called a "wiper seal" and that is all it really does, just wipes off the slide as it moves. It is supposed to wipe off excess water and probably leaves etc so they don't end up inside the camper. Like was previously mentioned, sometimes they flip correctly and sometimes they don't.
