We recently had slide toppers installed on our 2011 Cruiser 30 SKP. After a fairly heavy rainfall, I noticed that the fabric was sagging. When I checked on top of the slide, the two larger toppers were completely full of water and the fabric was sagging to the point it was touching the roof of the slide out. Does anyone know if there is a way of adjusting the fabric to make it tighter?

Some have items roped together so you just toss a SMALL weighted object upand across then pull them through. Other wise if you are leaving when you slide the room in the water will just roll off. You most have the trailer really leveled nice for the water to just stay there.
Just got a 330SS 5th wheel and live in the Northwest, have the same problem with the rain on the toppers. Is the lever on the left side of the topper a tighting device? Beach Ball may work but my slides are long and not sure how to get a beach ball all the way down to the middle and do I want to get a ladder out everytime.
Actually, "coastn" was the one that came up with the beach ball idea. He's got a trailer which is probably not as high up in the air as a 5er.
What I do is just run the slide in a ways when I see the topper sagging from rain water.
thanks for the reply. I thought about the beach ball idea some; my slides are 14'8", 10'3" & 12', this was going to take at least two balls per slide and how to I get them out. Well, I thought the beach balls with the blow stem I could tie a string to the stem. Walmart etc. none had 8" blow up beach balls. Then I saw the old arm bands that kids who can't swim wear; I can put a string through the band and when inflated they are 9". I used the extended wash brush and pushed one in 2/3 down and the other 1/3, it's working. Northwest it rains. Do need the ladder though!
