slideout problem

I have a 2017 travel star galaxy star craft camper. the floor of the slideout where it meets the main floor has a beveled edge. I was told with slideout all the way out it should be level with main floor. mine has a hump in the floor and the slideout tilts down. how do I correct this.

Give us some more info on what type of slide you have. Maybe someone will help you knowing this info.

If that is what it has, all you should have to do is look under the slide to confirm it.
There should be a couple shafts/tubes with a strip of teeth/cogs on them.

Check between the fascia and the wall at the bottom on both sides for anything that would keep the slide from fully extending.

Has the flooring been changed?

If you indeed have the rack slide system there are adjustments that can be made but first you will need to determine why it is that far out. If something is blocking it from fully extending you do not want to adjust then it could be adjusted too far if the blockage moves.

Sorry for all the questions but without being there we need to ask them to get a better understanding of the situation.

The slide in my trailer is a Schwintek which is a bit different than yours but does the same job. On mine, the slide floor is approx. 1/8" above the main floor when opened or closed. The leading edge of the slide is carpeted and slants down to the main floor. Not sure if it was intended by the manufacturer but it acts as a sweeper seal and clears any debris that is on the floor as it closes and prevents things from getting stuck under the slide floor, which will create havoc on the vinyl.

My slide when extended has a slight tilt down, which lets the rain run off instead of into the trailer through any openings in the rubber seals. Again I am not sure if this built into the design or not but the slide operates well and no water on the inside.

Not knowing how much of a gap between your slide floor and the trailer floor and how much of a tilt to your extended slide is difficult to tell without more information. You will have to identify the make and type of slide you have and find the manual on adjustments for it. There are some manuals on this site and Google can be of help, as well.

Redone,
As much as the group and forum would like to help you, you should be aware that you have a StarCraft brand RV, and you are asking for help in a forum specializing in a totally different brand of RV, the Crossroads.
There is at least one forum that is just for Starcraft, I bet you'll get some people more familiar with your RV there.
That said, Slideouts are somewhat universal, and if you can give us more detail, or even pictures of the slide system, we might be more help.
