What did you have in mind for it to deodorize? Little more info would be helpful.

I guess its depends on what smell you re trying to get rid of.The new trailer smell is the formaldehyde, the best route for that is to put out little cups of ammonia and let them evaporate.they will neutralize that new trailer smell.with that being said you need to air out the ammonia smell for a day or two after doing this.We cooked fish inside the last trip out this year, that smell seemed everywhere which made washing the walls down necessary. We used lemon Mr. Clean for that.We like Febreeze for the fabric and Neutra air for other stuff. as far as regular deodorizers I think its whatever you like. Also we use clorox in the tanks and be sure to put the stoppers in your sinks tubs and such after you winterize it helps slow the evaporation of anti freeze in the P-traps and keep the vapors down if it all does evaporate

I use Thetford liquid. You can get it with or without Formaldehyde. Others use the "Geo Method" which seems to work well also. Do a search for Geo Method on this forum and you will get some info on it. When using the fan, it helps to have a window/vent open in the rig to allow air into the rig so the fan does not try to suck air from the holding tanks.

We use the Geo Method. We both hate the smell of the common holding tank chemicals and this has been working great for us for several years now.

Every once and a while I will add a little liquid TST Orange you can get at Walmart.

Geo method---has been great. I use the water softener and tide in the Black tank. I often throw it in the empty tank then drive.

+1 on the Geo method. We have used it since we day 1 with our Cruiser. The only time we get any odor is when it is very hot outside. When that happens I just add bleach to the black tank and it clears up.

Fortunately we have no bad smells in our bathroom. We use whatever is cheapest at Wal*Mart.
