Howdy folks,

Anybody out there possibly have a list of things to get for their NEW RV. I have a 1000 things in my head, but I'm sure I'll forget something. If someone has gone through the trouble of creating a list, I'd sure appreciate getting a copy of it.

Thanks to all and Happy Campin.

Wheel chocks of some type are needed. A white RV water hose and a pressure regulator should also be on the list of things to buy. A new trailer willprobablycome with a sewer hose but in alllikelihood it will be to short and very cheap Do some research on this forum on voltage and surge protection. Lots of opinions but I wouldn't be without one after having had electrical damage. Typically dealers offer a discount at time of purchase on accessories but check out prices at CW, Amazon, and Walmart to know in advance if it's truly a good price.</span>

On the electrical side ensure you have a few adapters to allow you to plug into the various Park supplies. 20 Amp, 30 Amp cheater adapters.
Water side: Yep - pressure regulator may help, a 90 degree elbow (depending on your RV set-up), maybe a separate hose for the Black tank flush.
Black/Grey water: Check what the RV comes with. You may need a few extra odds and sods like 90 degree elbow (threaded), I use the elbow that you can see water flow. I also like the snake support that can be placed under the hose assembly to keep it off the ground an aid in flow.
Pad/Wheel supports. Not all sites are created equal. I also carry 2, 6 foot lengths of 2*6 to aid in leveling the unit. Unless equipped with built in levels, two 1 foot levels also help!!!
Wheel chocks - ditto
Large cooler - I keep my "refreshments" outside... easier access!!!
Small Tool kit. I carry a 108 piece socket-set, small bag of screwdrivers, meter, extra fuses, bulbs, 12V compressor, and a bottle jack..... (and yes - some of it has come in very handy!!!!!)
Last but not least - a good bottle of Capt Morgan Private Stock rum - for emergencies...... (for the Navy part of my planning training....)

Didn't see EXTENSION cords mentioned. You should have a good 50-amp extension as well as some regular 110 volt extensions. A hammer and some basic tools like screw drivers. I'm ex-special forces so I carry a ménage of survival items as well but that's up to the individual.
