Tony,
Yes. We have the same problem. When unhitched there is
only a small gap beneath the compartment door and the locks work fine. When
hitched to the truck the opening is larger and the lock arm is not long enough
to catch the framework.
Our only recourse may be to:

</span></span></span></span>Pop rivet
a small piece of material to the compartment door frame for the arm to catch
upon.

</span></span></span>Loosen the screws along the bottom on the compartment
door frame and shim the bottom of the frame upward. </span>

You may have noticed that the silicon along the forward
trim of your RV is opening up. This is also due to the frame flexing.
