suspension spring sag

hello all,
i have a 2007 PP 35CK that we have had for one year and have discovered that the drivers side is 1-1/4" lower than the passenger side. It looks like the springs on the drivers side have flattened out compared to the other side. These springs are 1-3/4" wide, 4 leaf. Would it be better to get new spring packs or add a leaf to the drivers side? I want to change the tires from 235/80R16 to 235/85R16 and don't think i will have enough clearance for the taller tire. I would go with the new spring pack, on both sides

Does your PP have more slide outs on the drivers side, and are they heavier slides. Slides can add a considerable amount of weight to the side they are on.

The difference in the two tire sizes is only 9/10 of an in. in diameter. Which will raise the axle less then 1/2 in.

If it was me. and I wanted to try and level it up more, I would buy a new complete spring for each side.

I'm glad you posted this. I struggle leveling my TT. I have to get the drivers side way higher than the passenger side. If I make it level or even just slightly higher in a day the drivers side drops. When we leave this park I'm going to measure the sides to see if they are equal. I also think my springs look a little flat. I haven't even had it 2 years yet.

i just finished installing new spring pacs and it made a big difference. Our trailer has the heavier slides on the drivers side which probably over time made that side sag. i put 5 leaf springs in and installed the 235/85R16 tires as well. Everything sits level now and i have a much better tire under the trailer as well!

A few questions.
What spring kit did you buy and where?
Did you install it yourself?

Hi Bert,
I got the new springs through a trailer parts wholesale supplier that i deal with through my workplace. They were an import spring but very reasonable in price. I installed them myself, easy to do with some jack stands and hydraulic jacks. Probably took me about three hours total to do both sides.
