Thermostat wiring

I purchased a used Sunset Trail Grand Reserve 33RL last year. The previous owner installed a programmable thermostat with some kind of relay. I want to install the original thermostat, a Coleman Mach that has six wires attached. ( red, blue, gray, white, green and yellow). The wiring in the wall where the thermostat mounts has a brown cable with small diameter wires, 8 of them, 4 are not connected (red, black, orange, and white) The other 4 are either connected to the relay or new thermostat. ( yellow, blue, brown, and green) There are also some larger diameter wires, a blue and white which are connected to the thermostat and a green and white wire that the green wire is a loop and the white wire is connected to the relay and the blue wire from brown cable.
I am looking for some help on how to install the original thermostat, is there a wiring diagram to assist me?

Do you have the original thermostat or do you have to buy one? It probably will have a wiring diagram. Also google the Coleman ac and you should be able to find a wiring diagram in the service and installation section of the manual.

And welcome to the forum!

So I did find a wiring diagram drawn by the previous owner, I was able to wire it back in. Thanks to everyone for adding their thoughts.

I have a 2007 RV trailer, and the Dometic thermostat on the wall started to malfunction, meaning I had to constantly raise the temperature setting higher, and higher to get it to work, and to just get 75 degrees I had to raise the slider bar to 95 degrees, so obviously the thermostat was not working properly. The reason why?
