Tire for towing vehicle

Hello All!

I'm needing new tires for my Excursion and was wanting to get your input on Hancook tires. I can get 4 for 152.12 each. That includes mounting/balancing/discarding the old tires. This is the least expensive tire I've found but I'm not up on tire brands.

Any help will be appreciated.

BTW the size is LT 265-75-R16 - 10 ply.

That seems like a decent price.I don't know much about that brand butI paid around $850for a set BFG RuggedTrails for my truck in the same size except 17".

Joe, I have had Hankooks on my wifes car for the past couple of years and am very pleased with their performance and wear. These particular tires were top rated on a couple of tire websites at the time. I believe it was the Discount Tire and the Tire Rack websites.

I also have a freind that is on his second set on his Ford 1/2 ton pickup. He is very happy with them. However he doesn't tow heavy so his were not 10 plys.



I subscribe to the DodgeDiesel -Desel Truck Resource forum and Rv.net and they always have a lot of discussions about tires. You can go to them and do a search on Hankooks and probably get some good feedback on the 10 plys for towing.
