Toilet

322 RL Cruiser 2017 5th wheel
Need to replace seal in toilet because the ball
doesn’t close tightly.
Does the toilet need to be removed?
It’s a Thetford toilet with lever on
left side of toilet.
Even a hint of what I should be
doing will be helpful.
Thanks Patsy

Yes you need to remove it. I replaced my seal a few years ago. It's not hard to R&R the seal but placing the toilet back in place correctly is very important. You don't want a leak!

I think he is talking about the seal that stops water from leaking into the tank fron the bowl.,

Many thanks to those who responded to my “cry for help”!
The information was accurate & the video was exceptional.
I especially liked the warning re challenge to put toilet back in it’s spot
and have no leaks.
A successful fix thanks to all you responders.
Patsy
