I was gone from camper for three weeks and when I returned I couldn't keep water to hold in the bottom of the toilet bowel. Is there something I can put in to soften it up so it will hold water. Thanks for any help u can give me
I just had the same problem. The owners manual says to clean the o-ring/seal at the ball valve by holding the valve open and wiping the seal (and under the seal) with a rag. If that doesn't work, the seal is easy to replace after removing the toilet from the floor. A new ball seal and floor seal are usually available at most RV dealers. You can also order them online if you have the model number.

I just had ther same thing happen, put vasiline on, bought a new seal 69.00, still did not work, Was told a buy a new toilet , did that paid 159.00 and half hour labor and I am happy. It is not worth fussing around, this new toilet is much better than the old one. Two seals at 69.00 each is the price of a new one
Cgaucho......Not sure what toilet you have or what seal you were trying to buy but the ball seal and new floor seal for my Thetford MK V were $8.00 at the local RV store.
