Transformer fan

Hi there just wondering if anyone else has their fan running all the time on their transformer... We own a 2014 Maple Country 34 ft bumper pull,this is our 4th time out this year and our fan won't stop running, any feedback would be appreciated.. Thanks..

Presuming you mean the converter. If so, it should get quiet when all lights are off, no fan or heater on, nothing drawing 12VDC. It would be normal to hear if you have two or more lights on.

Thanks, I did check on that and nothing was on,turned on and off all the lights and there was no change, would it continue to run if the batteries were being charged? Thanks again..

Yes, it could.
Anything that draws 12V will normally cause it to run. That's what it is suppose to do--cool the converter.

If everything was off, could it be he has a bad battery and it is trying to charge it?

Thanks for the info,I believe it was due to a low battery, my batteries were at half charge when we started the day and now have fully charged and the fan has since shut off..Thanks again..

Two fans may be running - one for the convertor and one for the refrigerator (if the fridge is mounted in a slide). The refrigerator will have a higher pitch to the sound.
