[QUOTE=Kamper Dave]

Bead Balancing of tires.

Does this really work? It just does not seem possible that 4 oz. of ceramic beads inside of a big tire can have much of an impact. I assume youwould need to remove them before having Costco balance the tire.

They may violate the "Keep It Simple" rule.

Dave:
Yes it does work!! If you are willing to pay the extra $$
The balance rings are the best. I was going to put them on this time when I got the new tires, but after pricing them I decided to try it without the rings first. Here is a link for the rings.

Michelin LTX M/S----my 2 trucks are sitting next to each other---one has 58,000, the other 10,000-----hard to tell the diffrence. Aggressive enough for Wisconsin winters, often left in 2 wheel in the snow ! Mainly use my Yukon XL pulling on the Highway, they have to be quiet when driving 10 hours, and they're great. Use to have a pic in my signature but after the change....I put 285 E rated on, I've heard my 3/4 ton should ride hard, but I don't think it's all that bad. Discount Tire 720 on sale (I think) maybe 740--ordered on Saturday--in my garage on Wednesday--with good dating.

Now if I could just find some tiresfor my Cruiser !!!!!!!!!!!!!
