TV Outlet

Took our new trailer out for her first trip this weekend. Everything went pretty well except slide stuck again but went in with a little push, and the outlet that the TV plugs into stopped working. We plugged it into the outlet for the fire place and got power again so my grand daughter could watch a movie. The TV worked at home, and during the walk thru just fine. Loose wire? Or is there a separate breaker for the TV. It only had one outlet on that wall plate were the fireplace had two outlets on the wall plate. Has someone mixed these up as they are not marked?

Other then that it was a much needed 4 days off!

Glad you had a pretty good experience on your first outing. Check for a GFCI that tripped. Happened to me and the GFCI was nowhere near the outlet that shut off.

Our Centre island GFCI was tripping last summer for no apparent reason. It would shut off power to the outlets on the left side of the trailer - which included power to the TV. The culprit was a wire/plug under the dining table slide that had a bad connection. When that was found and fixed - all was good.

I would also check the wires under the slide out, seen u had an issue there. CR uses a cheap wire tie to hold them up and I found a new on the lot 35ss with wire caught in the teeth for the slide which cut them

good luck and if its wet out just unplug the trailer while you dig around there, after all these units are self contained and don't have ground rods.
