Hi Bassboat, welcome to the forum.

You should have no problem scanning and picking up broadcast channels here in FL. Your TV will locate and latch on to dozens of them, mostly shopping, public broadcast and religious channels with a sprinkling of the main ones for good measure. Expect to see a few you don't normally find on cable such as Cozi, Laff and Decades, all of which screen re-runs of some good OLD shows.

Make sure the button is depressed on the cable outlet that powers the antenna amplifier, probably on the ceiling, so the little green light is on BEFORE you scan for channels otherwise you'll have to do it all again.

And just FYI, TV used in your subject line, and on this forum can just as easily refer to tow vehicle, it's a topic some might skip.

Good luck with your new toy, enjoy Florida when you get here.

Welcome to the forum. Also our antenna booster is on the ceiling in the bedroom on the ceiling. Or could be behind the tv.

Hello & Welcome to the forum!

One additional note about the TV antenna power button. If you’re connected to cable via the coax connection on the rear of your rig, the booster power button needs to be OFF before you scan for cable channels.
Happy camping!!
