Kits are about 10.00 dollars so I would say you might as well buy them at your dealer. Mine has maxi -air for 24.00.$ this is what you are talking about right?

The installation kit should have been with the cover. I suggest that you return them to Wal-Mart. I recently purchased one for my trailer at Wal-Mart and everything needed to install it along with the instructions on how to install it were in the box with the cover.

You do not have to drill into the roof, you will however drill into the vertical flange that the originalvent covers came down on

The Wal-Mart covers I bought were made by Camco and do have all the required installation hardware included. Drilling of the vent's flange is required to affix the brackets. A very easy job that even I could do.
