Hi

We have a 09 Cruiser 30sk which we bought in Sept. 2008. We have about a 12" crack in the outside wall just above the front top corner of the kitchen slide. My question is is it covered under warrenty? I've noticed that the front of the slide is tighter to side of the trailer than the rear & has been since we bought it. Which makes me think this has caused the problem. Also this slide has given us problems since shortly after we got it...slide won't open. Have had it to the dealer??? to no avail. Bumping it in & out seemed to work until this weekend when I had to manually get it started then it worked. Your thoughts please.

Regards Cal

Sounds like your slide needs to be adjusted by someone who knows what they are doing. My '07 slide works fine and is equally tight all around. I had a crack under the front left corner of the bedroom slide and CR sent me a kit to repair it free. Call CR and talk to them....IMHO it should be covered under the structural warranty. CR's fix for me was to cut the crack line open and insert a "H" molding to cover the crack. Not sure if your crack is straight up and down or not though. If it is diagonal, this fix may not work.

The best answer is to read your copy of the five year frame warranty. Unless you have documentation of an effort to have the cause of this problem corrected under the two year warranty I believe you to be out of luck. Also, unless you have had the annual roof and frame inspection performed per warranty conditions you are probably SOL.

The warranty states:

This includes a limited, 5-year structural guarantee against floor,

walls and roof defects from the date of delivery. This limited

manufacturer's warranty is the best in the industry

Take pictures and send them to Randy Mischler at Crossroads service center. We had a saging roof trusse repaired at the service center when our '07 30sk was 3-1/2 years old. No questions asked.

Hi

have taken pictures & taken measurements ,there is a 3/4 of a inch difference between the front of the slide & the rear when the slide is open & 1/2 inch when closed. Don't know what there tolerance is but this seems excessive.
