what products are poeple using to wash and wax there rigs with?

Any auto wash solution works fine. I use Collinite's Insulator Wax for waxing, lasts longer then anything else I have used. http://www.colliniteautomotive.com/p....htm#liquid845

I just discovered a wonderful new wash and wax product called The Solution. It's a waterless solution that does an excellent job of cleaning and waxing.
We were camped next to some people in a big diesel pusher with a black toad. The gal was out there cleaning the black car in the hot sunshine with this stuff. She was doing the windows, chrome and everything with it. The car looked great with no polish marks. Their motor home looked really shinny.
The campground owner had ordered a case of it after seeing what it does and was willing to sell me a gallon. I've done my Cruiser and my TV and they both look great. I'm really sold on this stuff and have ordered a case. One thing I discovered with it is you really should use a micro-fiber towel with it. I first tried a diaper and it worked OK but when I used a micro-fiber towel it sparkled. I believe you can buy micro-fiber towels at Costco or possibly WM.
It ain't cheap at $40 a gallon but if you by a case, four gallons, you pay for three and get one free. No shipping or tax.

I went the the boat section of one of our local stores and purchased some wax specifically formulated for the high gel gloss fiberglass on my trailer, comes in a blue bottle and is made by Mequires I think. I wax the trailer once per year with this stuff and it still looks new after 4-years. To quote another member here on a different thread...."it is like waxing an elephant!"

I use Meguires and Car Brite (valvoline) but i think most waxes will get the job done. Oh and the #1 item needed for waxing "the elephant".........ORBITAL BUFFER!!!
