I noticed after taking my new TT out for the first time that there is water damage on the front night stands on both sides and what I thought was contours in the front fiberglass below the marker lights, I believe is water damage also. Will the dealer repair this? Edited by: Greenhorn

If your unit was purchased new by you and is still under factory warranty it should be handled. If you are close enough, you may want to consider taking directly to factory for repair. Call Crossroads customer service.

Sorry to hear, how long was the unit on the dealers lot and did they charge you to perform a PDI? The dealer should have caught these issues if you just bought this unit. I see your in Ohio which is not far from Topeka Indiana. Call the Crossroads repair center yourself and ask for Randy. He can advise you on how to proceed.

We did a walk through and the mechanic did an inspection filled all tanks flushed everything and made sure all things worked. I noticed a little spot on the main counter and a small chunk knocked out 1/8 th in. didn't get too worried about that. The unit sat for close to 2 yrs. The mechanic told us to take it home and seal everything again. The front marker lamps putty seals were all cracked all the way around. But they didn't disclose anything about damage.

I would let my dealer have the chance to look at it before calling customer svc. I think it will keep your dealer consumer relationship healthier

Really? Any dealer who tells a customer who bought a new unit to go home and seal it up failed at their job as a dealer ! A dealership is not exempt from inspecting seals and roof joints every six months. If water has entered the inter and stained then the inside wall is soaked and beyond the typical repair ability of a local dealership. JMHO but I think the dealer should have sealed the unit annually as it sat.....

I do not know what if any criteria is used by Crossroads for thier dealer selection process but this dealer sounds pretty stand up. I just received my third call from different departments at my selling dealer a month after purchase just to make sure all is well. Very impressed.

I hope that all works out well for you.
