We own a 2007 Cruiser M-30 SK.

This is our FIRST 5th wheel. We are newbies to RVing also.

When I push the interior panel water fill buttons, the Water Tank button shows
2/3 full.

QUESTION: How do I drain the water out of the 5th Wheel for travel, then how
to I put water back in.

The rear exterior water hose hookup for shore water is a single water hose connection, and there is no "open the door" and fill water tank location that I can see.

Thanks for your help

If I remember correctly, the drain for the fresh water tank is under the street side rear corner of the trailer. The fresh water tank fill is in the center of rear wall under the window. There is a cap you remove and insert the hose and hold it, no screw connection. There should also be a hose connection in the same vicinity to connect the hose for city water supply. This directly supplies city water to all faucets, no holding tank or pump required for this. Just make sure if you use the city water connection that you use a pressure reducer to limit the water pressure. You can get one at any RV dealer or the RV department at Walmart. $10 to $12.

Mike, what Dale said is accurate. I have the same model as you. I will add that the tank does not drain completely when level. Although thegauge will say empty, there will still be 4-5 gallons left in the tank. What I do is when unhooking the rig from the truck for the last time before winterizing, I drain the tank with the rig is still nose high. That way I get as much water out as possible. In the Spring, I will add, 1/4 cup bleach to the tank and fill with water and flush the faucet lines; then fill the tank with fresh water and drain it (2-3 times will get the bleach out).

I see your in Everett. I am just North of you in Oak Harbor.

Dale;

Thank you, I will look for it.
Also, I have purchased the restrictor for the water flow.

Thank you
