Water heater inop

I recently purchased an 08 cruiser 5th wheel. Trying to get it all ready and the water heater isn’t working on electric or gas. I have a/c at the breaker. The heater doesn’t make a sound when I turn on the switches. Not trying to ignite or anything. Can anyone direct me where to start to trouble shoot it?

Basic troubleshooting skills come into play here. Start with where you do have power (breaker) and work towards the W/H. Check 12v as well. Use a multimeter and be careful with 120v power. If you don't have experience working with 120V call a tech.

I have a/c from the breaker to where it comes In from the main run but nothing at the switch. The element ohms out good. No power to element when turning on switch.

Go to our Document section. Under "systems" look for the Attwood water heater service. May help you.

Not sure what circuit board you have, but almost all have a 2 amp fuse on them. That's what blew on mine. In addition, my battery was almost dead and the heater won't work unless the battery is good.

Here's a pic of fuse.
