Question Water heater operation ... clarification and sanity check

True or False, assuming the panel bulb is not burned out, the water heater is not activated (not trying to heat water) when the red light is off? My reason for asking is a sanity check. We have our RV winterized and all water is drained out of the hot water tank. So when we plug in to electricity, the water heater should not 'automatically' kick on and try to heat water. Don't want to burn the heater out because sometimes we plug in to electricity while parked at home but not hooked up to water. For example, to open slides for loading up for next trip, or to clean inside, or whatever....

Question Kitchen Faucet Disassembly (Low Water Pressure)

Has anyone ever had trouble getting the aerator fitting off of your RV kitchen sink? We have low-marginal pressure, so my husband is trying to take it apart but cannot get the aerator off the spout.

If the switch is off, the electric heating element should not work. Not sure how the sink faucet comes apart. If you have low water presure in the complete trailer, check the screen where the water hose hooks up on the side of the trailer. I have had that get clogged a time or two.

I turn off my WH breaker when I winterize so it does not get turned on accidently.

If yours is like mine, it doesn't come apart. It's not like a house hold faucet.
Look for a screen/filter on the water pump.
