Hello, when camping with a popup we never hooked up to water at the campground. Now that we have a nice trailer we will hook up to water. My question is on hook up hoses. Is there any difference between the "RV" hose and a garden hose besides price? Should I use an inline filter?
White RV white hose is for a better tasting water. Plain old garden hoses give off stinky hose smell and a funky taste especially when sitting around in the hot sun..The RV white hose won't
I fill my water tank at home with soft water. I don't trust to many of our local campgrounds water supply. This eliminates the need to drag out a hose and for a pressure regulator.
RV hoses are rated safe because they are lead free.Â*
Yes...Most people don't know that regular garden hoses contain lead. When you buy a new garden hose you will see the warning. But then it is only known to the state of California. lol. Makes you wonder how we survived as kids. I still drink from the hose occasionally.
