Water on the floor???

We continue to get things inside the trailer organized, but I noticed this afternoon that there was a little bit of water on the floor, near the bathroom door. We haven't connected any water yet, and it hasn't rained, so I have no idea where it might have come from. Worrisome though. I'll have a look tomorrow to see if I see any more. We are taking it on the maiden voyage Wednesday morning. Sure hope I don't have plumbing problems to deal with.

Check under the bathroom vanity.Is there a vacuum breaker / check valve assembly there for the black water flush? It may have leaked when last used.

Maybe moisture condensation from the vent. If so, use a vent pillow.

i agree with DAYLE on the above post . condesation. by any chance were you running the heat when working inside ? if the temps are cool outside and warm inside it will create condensation . it happened to me one time . if you are running your heat you should have a tiny crack in a window or vent . should stop this from happening good luck on your maiden voyage

Thanks for the replies. I didn't see a check valve under the vanity, but I didn't spend a lot of time looking under there either. Maybe a closer look tomorrow. The vanity is on the back end of the trailer where the black water flush would be. The temps have been quite warm here so I haven't been using the heater. Actually sitting at 71F right now and it is after 8:30 PM. But, also didn't see any water a few minutes ago when I went to check. I'm sure we will use the heat some when camping though, since it will be down in the 40's.

What is a vent pillow? I'll do a Google search on that.

Ah, I see what a vent pillow is. Pretty neat. I think I'll put that on the list of things to purchase. Actually, two or three.

Fridge near the water? Is the condensation from the fridge, there is a drain tube that's suppose to exit outside at the fridge vent. If the tube isn't outside it could drain inside.

After driving in rain I found a small puddle around the area of the water heater. Pulled cover and dust showed it didn't come from there. I had no more problem but no more rain either. I mentioned to a mobile tech who was looking at my rig for another problem. He pointed out a screw head on the vent cover for the bathroom which was half covered. He said the water would work it's way down around the threads and then down the pipe which just happened to come down by where the water showed up.

Long story short, when inspecting the top for cracked caulking make sure ALL the screw heads are covered as well.

Actually it was fairly close. I'll check that out because I did have the fridge running for a while, and actually turned it back on last night. Thanks for the suggestion.

Check all of the fittings under all sink taps and toilet and hot water heater ...they ,at the factory, only hand tighten them and some dealers only look , but don't re tighten them . also after the hot water is used ,the hot fittings need tightening again . don't forget to check shower also ....on yours it will require unscrewing the white plastic round observation thing behind the shower taps. (next to the thermostat)
The check valve/black 90 degree thing under the bath sink for the sani-flush will not be tight ...almost guaranteed....you will definatly have to check that . You will have to hook up a hose to the sani flush and look inside to see.Mine was only finger tight ...

btw , did your dealer repack the bearings or just pump grease into the grease fitting??

and get a piece of 3/4" plywood to slip under the center of the slide when in the in position to stop the dinette from separating from the wall if someone walks on the carpet area of the slide when in the in position ....just don't forget to remove it when extending the slide...worked good for me after the separation problem...
