water pressure

Okay guys I need your help again. Wife is complaining about no pressure when she takes a shower. I have a water pressure reducer on my fresh water hose. The RV dealer sold me. Do I need this? We have lots of pressure at the sinks but not at the shower head. It is one of those cheap plastic ones that came with the Zinger.

If you don't dry camp much you could drill the hole out in the reducer washer in the shower head or remove it completely. I took ours out and drilled it a couple of sizes larger since we do dry camp a few times a year and it really helped the pressure on ours when hooked up tofresh water.

You may have something in the line at the shower that is blocking most of the water. Sounds like the rest of the trailer has good pressure.

Not to be insulting, but you should be able to turn the shower head itself on and off. Is it possibly shut off? Usually it is a turnable device on the back of where the water comes out.

No problem. I checked that also. What about that reducer on the fresh water hose? Do I need that?

You most definitely need a water pressure regulator on the fresh water hose. It is impossible to know how much pressure each park has and if the pressure is too high it could cause some real problems. I usually attach my regulator to the faucet and then attach the water hose.

We got one it is a whole lot better than the stock unit. I think it has more pressure too.

Ours does but if you do any dry camping you will need to install a on/off valve like the stock unit has so you are not wasting fresh water out of the holding tank. When hooked up to a fresh water source it is no big deal.
