water tank issues

We decided on a seasonal site with electric, but no water. It was out of the flood prone areas of the campground. we hope to upgrade next year, but felt a seasonal was much cheaper than monthly. That aside, we are mostly weekend warriors. Any hints or advice as to what to be aware of? I will sanitize the tank and lines prior to filling. and if I schmooze with a tote of kindling wood, I think I can get a neighboring camper to let me fill up occasionally. I will put a filter inline for that. I have a 32' crossroads cruiser.

With a situation like that, what are your plans for dumping your tanks?

I have a dump wagon. there's a dump station 60 feet away from the site. And showers. All we need water for is toilet use, and dishes.
