2,900 miles: Pilot Point, TX - Rapid City, SD - Deadwood, SD - Crow Agency/Garryowen, MT and return. Cruiser did well. A few issues cropped up, i.e., TV antenna crank and turning gear fell out of ceiling, interior trim panel fell off slide and front black tank washer quit working. Will take in for service in a week or so.

Nine nights, six RV parks. Saw a bunch of Cruisers along the way.

Averaged 11.4 mpg at a steady 62 mph. NO tire issues! Checked 65 psi each day prior to moving.

Sounds like a gound shake down run.The blades fell off the ceiling fan and the light fixture over the bath vanity came apart on our Kingston last summer. No biggey. We have about 10'000 miles on now and no major concerns. Happy Trails.

Art, I had the crank and all the guts for the antenna land in my hand a couple years ago.
So it does happen.

Sounds like a good time and a lot of miles. We took our new Cruiser out last weekend for the 1st time. Found a few minimal warranty problems but nothing major. Hope to get it warranted before heading to cooler country for a week later this summer, if not it call all wait until the camping season ends. Been to the state park you have been working in a long time ago, really liked the park, I hope we can get back down there sometime in the near future.

Glad you had a good time...as others have said..the antenna crank is bound to fall apart at some point in time. I finally just replaced mine last year after getting parts while at the Rally last year. This year, I had the bedroom door ripped from its hinges(yes it was strapped down) due to the rough roads in Minnesota. After taking the door off, straightening the hinge, resetting the screws, and re-installing, it survived the 700+ mile trip back home in one piece. Let us know what you find out about the tank wash...

The rear tank wash was replaced a long time ago under warranty. Then the front stopped working then suddenly started working again but has stopped again. It is rather strange as we were in one spot for the past three months with o issue. Take the Cruiser out on the road and it stopped again! When the front was replaced I was told the original was installed incorrectly in a place prone to stoppage.
