Does anyone use a web camera when on the road to communicate with the kids. We are thinking of getting them for the kids and ourselves. Also wondering whatbrand you use.
First used a Logitech QuickCam years ago with very good success. Found a really small USB cam at Fry's for $10 and it works great. Almost too small, it tends to tip easily if bumped or cord gets pulled.
We don't need a cam to keep in touch with the kids since they travel with us, but works perfectly for keeping in touch with other family and friends.
Most any will work well, Logitech has been making them for years and is a trusted brand. I use Skype which is a great program for video-chat with family and friends.
