The only real problem that I really don't like about our camper is that we ain't in it camping right now!

A good way to check where the dead bolt is hitting. Open the door and extend dead bolt out. Put some grease on the end of the dead bolt. Retract dead bolt and close the door. With the door now closed extend deadbolt like your locking it. Retract and open door. The grease on the end will leave a grease spot where it it hitting. On mine I actually had to use a small bolt and a hammer to flatten a small portion of aluminum where mine was hitting.

So yes they are double pole breakers. I have figured out that there is only 4 circuits on the breaker and one is for the outside fridge. Now I did try the griddle in the same plug with the outside fridge unplugged and still tripped the breaker. Pulling the cover off the fuse panel shows only one lead coming out of each breaker but it also looks like the wires are of a smaller gauge then household. Very strange. First off what I am going to do is pull the double and install 2 singles. And will report back. I am hoping its just a crappy breaker.

If yours are anything like what mine were. they are (crappy breakers)

If you have any empty unused slots in the panel, you might want to put additional breakers in them and break up the load some more.

have you tried the griddle on the actual 15a /20 a plug on the post? if the fridge works and the griddle trips, maybe it is that.

Blown Breakers

So the weather allowed me add another breaker and split the failing one. Now to wait for another day to test. Winds howling and blowing over trees in the Calgary AB area.

When we had 2006 cruiser 29RK....
replaced all double pole breakers with singles, as double pole breakers would conduct heat to other one.
replaced carpet with a floating laminate floor.
Installed plexiglass over the screens in storm door.
to name a few.
In this one, will replace vinyl floor with a floating laminate floor.
install plexiglass over storm door screens.

On our 32' CR STR RL 5th wheel, we noticed the carpet was wearing pretty heavily on the stairs leading from the living area up to the bathroom and front bedroom area. We were able to locate a piece of OEM matching linoleum and had our local RV repair shop replace the carpet on the stairs with the linoleum. Looks good and matches the linoleum in the main living area.

The one item I don't care for on our model is the small triangle shaped storage pantry shelves on both sides of the fridge. Pretty much worthless for storing cereal and other large boxes.

Success !!! the new breaker held flawlessly with the outside fridge plugged in even. the griddle works like a charm. No more filling the camper with bacon smell for a day. I will admit I like it but the rest of the family not so much.

Thanks for every ones help.

Happy camping.

I just got word of another crazy fault! So the are finally going to repair the damage to my trailer. But they are stuck because of Crossroads. They are replacing the lower rear quarter panel (J something). On each corner of my slides there is a small square called an end cap. About 4" by 4". Crossroads informed my shop that the manufacture of this cap has gone out of business and they have no suitable replacement for it. MY TRAILER IS ONLY 1 1/2 YEARS OLD!

Had our first trip in the trailer. Two things...1. I did not like the skylight in the main area as when it became daylight, it was the same as if the lights were on and it woke up the kids and 2. The windows on one side of the trailer was very stiff and could hardly get them to slide.

Tappy, does your have the shade? You can also add a reflective pad to reduce the light and heat.

Interior LED lights are extremely bright. I wish the bulbs could be replaced with softer bulbs, but technically they are no "replacement" bulbs as they are integrated boards.
